Every pick runs through a proprietary point system that weighs the quality of the source and a range of game and market factors. Higher scores mean higher conviction. The math updates throughout the day and can keep shifting right up until game time as new information lands. We surface the data and the ranking. You make the call.
The line every pick is recorded, ranked, and graded at is the market line captured 1 hour before that game starts. Lines move during the day, so a pick tracks the market until then; at the 1-hour mark the number is captured once and locked, as if the bet were placed right there. That locked line is what you see in the rankings and what a tracked bet settles against, so the line you see is the line you get. The 1-hour mark follows the real start time, so a schedule slip moves it too. One more rule: until a game actually begins, the tracked call on it can still change. If our scoring moves ahead on the other side before the start, the recorded bet flips with it, at that same locked line.

The Live Value Pulse is a real time read on how much betting value a pick holds while its game is being played. It only appears once a game goes live, and it updates every few seconds as the game changes.
The graph plots a single signed number from +100 (high value) at the top to -100 (low value) at the bottom, with a zero line through the middle. Gold and above the line means buy low value is building: the pick is trading below where it started, but our live model still gives it a real chance. Near the zero line (slate) means the pick is fairly priced, roughly where it began. Blue and below the line splits two ways, and the label tells you which: the pick is winning and the value has already been priced in, or the pick is trailing and the deficit is getting hard to recover.
The reading moves with the whole game state, not just the score. In baseball, runs, the inning, outs, baserunners and even the count all nudge it. In tennis it follows the set and game ladder, down to who is serving. The bottom axis is labeled by period (innings for baseball, quarters or halves for clock sports, sets for tennis) and builds out as the game goes, while the vertical window zooms in to keep the recent swings readable.
It is a probabilistic read, not a promise. It does not tell you to bet and it is not a guarantee of any outcome. It is simply one more piece of live information for your own decision.
